Phil and Selina farm free-range rare and heritage breed pigs on their 45 acre property on Tasmania’s East Coast. The pigs are free to roam and grow at their own pace in large wattle paddocks. Their foraged feed is supplemented with a hand-made grain mix to produce full flavoured pork of yesteryear.
We supply restaurants and direct to the public. Find us at Hobart Farm Gate Market on the 3rd Sunday of every month or order your own Pig In A Box and we’ll deliver it to your door statewide.

We are dedicated to producing full flavoured pork of yesteryear. We’ve selected breeds that are best suited to free range farming. The result? Fat marbling and rich dark colouring sought by the finest restaurants including Saffire Freycinet.
the name
Long Name Farm recognises the indigenous name for the Little Swanport area. At 37 letters, it is the longest recorded place name in Australia.

Get your half pig delivered complimentary to anywhere in Tasmania. We’ll prepare 25 kilos dressed weight (dwt) of butchered, vacuum packed, labelled free-range pork ready for your freezer. Great value, Pig In A Box equates to $13.20 per kilo dwt.
